Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple with her dog, Mackie Boy, June 24, 1931. Temple stands at the center at the front of a porch and wears a short-sleeve blouse, shorts, socks, and canvas sneakers. She leans against the porch and holds the leash of the dog with both hands. The terrier sits at her feet and has white fur with darker fur around the eyes, on the ears, and at the neck. Around them is a dirt area, and at the right are the stairs to the porch which has a planter along the top left of the baluster. At the top of the porch is the screen door of the wood home flanked by two windows. Another window is on the side wall at the far right. The tops of many pine trees are behind the structure and the branches of another are at the top of the foreground. A stap is at the bottom left of the back with the words, "WEBCO PRINT / JUN 24 1931 / WILL NEVER FADE." The photograph was housed in Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With water damage, deep stains throughout, and missing the top right corner, the artifact is in poor condition.
