The dog pants and faces to the left and has white fur with darker fur around the eyes, on the ears, and the neck. The woman faces to the left at the right and leans against a wall. She wears a long short-sleeve dress and has her left hand up to her ear, while she holds her right knee with her right hand. The area around them is dirt, while at the center of the back is the top of the porch. At the right is a window and a screen door to the home. At the right of the back is a stamp with, "WEBCO PRINT / JUN 24 1931 / WILL NEVER FADE."
