A pin promoting the presidential campaign of New York governor Alfred E. Smith, 1928. The face of the artifact has a brown outer section with the words "FOR PRESIDENT / ALFRED E. SMITH" on it and a central circular photograph of the candidate in a head-and-shoulder view, showing him wearing a dark-colored suit, white shirt, and dark-colored bow tie. On the inside of the back is the name, logo, and address of the manufacturer, Geraghty and Company, of Chicago and the logos of unions that produced the item.
