Color: Brown
A token promoting New York Governor Alfred E. Smith for President, 1928. The half-dollar sized artifact has a relief image of the candidate on one side with the year and the phrase "ALFRED E. SMITH FOR PRESIDENT" along the edge. On the reverse is an image in relief of the United States Capitol, the year, and the phrase "ALL FOR 'AL' AND 'AL' FOR ALL," around the perimeter. With fairly severe tarnishing, some kind of ink or other marking on the obverse, and some scratching, the object is in fair condition overall.
