ALLIGATORS IN PEN AT LOS ANGELES ALLIGATOR FARM
Color: Black; White
A photograph of two alligators in a pen at the Alligator Farm, Los Angeles, 21 February 1928. The image is taken from just outside the pen and shows the two animals on a concrete surface with a tree trunk near them, as well as fence of wood posts and wire. Aside from shadows from trees, the fence and possibly a person at the lower center, there are no other identifiable features. On the reverse is a pen inscription reading "Los Angeles California / Aligator [sic] Farm, Feb. 21, 1928." In pencil below this is "Rush / 38." The words "VELOX" are stamped throughout the paper. With residue from a photo album at the reverse top, yellowing, and stains on the reverse, the overall condition is good.
