"Alphabetical List of Schools Showing Principals and Locations," Los Angeles City School District, September 1924. At the front is the location of the district's general office, its principal officers, the school calendar including holidays, members of the Board of Education, standing committees and time of meetings, members of the superintendent's staff, office hours, and names and titles for other departments. From page 6 is the list of schools, starting with elementary schools and including directions by streetcar as well as the name of the principal. Lists for "special schools", junior high schools, and high schools and evening high schools follow. At the end is a reprinting of a rule prohibiting several types of conduct. With some creases and minor soiling on wrappers and clean pages, the condition is good overall.Lexicon
