Description

A postcard for the American Historical Review/Motion Picture Exposition, held at Los Angeles, 2 July to 4 August 1923. The card has a painted or drawn image of an exposition site in a romantically-envisioned locale with a large domed tower at the right and a small domed entrance to a set of arched arcades at the lower left. On the reverse of the unused card is a paragraph describing the event as held at a "huge Coliseum" meaning the recently-constructed Los Angeles Coliseum. The printer's name, spaces for message and address and a box for the stamp are also included. With some stains and soiling, as well as edge wear, the condition is good.
