Description
AMERICAN LEGION MARCHING BAND AT THE PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE, 1920s
Color: Black; White
A marching band, probably from the American Legion, at the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, California, 1920s. The image shows the band in formation marching down a street with crowds watching from either side. Portions of buildings, some tall trees, flags or bunting hanging over the street and a float in the background are also notable features. On the back is the brand name "VELOX" preprinted onto the paper, while the number "101" is stamped in blue ink. With some mounting adhesive residue on the back corners, small creases at the right corners, and slight yellowing, the overall condition is good.
