Description

An advertisement from H.J. Ruess regarding a 6.67 acre walnut grove in the Puente District, ca. 1917. The advertisement is intended for real estate agents who may be interested in finding a buyer for the property, which Mr. Ruess describes as being close to Puente and priced at $8,000 with its crop or $7,250 without. Mr. Ruess specifies the terms of sale, which are that $2,500 of the price must be in cash with a $1,000 balance at 7% interest. Mr. Ruess also gives additional information about the property's water availability, soil, trees and location. Mr. Ruess states that the agent who sells the property will receive a 5% commission. With moderate tears, creases, a piece missing, minor foxing, minor acid burns, and brittleness that is due to the acidity of its paper material, the object is in poor condition overall.
