Description
An advertising automobile with two front ends, Los Angeles, F. Morrison Boyd, 1925. The image shows the novelty Ford parked in front of a commercial structure. On the side is lettering for the California Tire and Rim Company on South Grand Avenue in downtown. A pencil inscription on the reverse identifies the scene and there is a stamp from a San Diego photo developer reading 28 July 1926, though the group of photos this came with are indicated as being taken in 1925. Boyd, a road scout for the American Automobile Association, was on a 37,000-mile trip through the U.S., Mexico and Canada. With some stains and soiling, mainly on the reverse, the condition is good overall.
