Description
An advertising card for Dr. & Mrs. Chumley & Co. regarding cancer detection, ca. 1910s. The card offers $1,000 to anyone if a cancer cure is not successful, noting "a Pacific Island plant makes the cures" and that 10,000 successful cures were recorded. The card also criticizes Christian Science and its approaches to medicine, while quoting the Bible in rejoinder. The company name and address is also included, though the part of the firm name is blacked out. With small stains, browning on one side, soiling and rubbing, the overall condition is fair.
