Description

An advertising postcard for a Sacremento Valley ranch and Tulare County lemon grove trade proposition from Simpson & Childs. 25 August 1921. The advertisement states that the party wants Eastern real estate, particularly in Chicago, Kansas City, or Detroit, in exchange for their $60,000 ranch and $60,000 clear lemon grove. The advertisement also states that offers will be dealt with quickly since Mr. Childs is now in the East, and that a commission will go to the agents involved. The business address of Simpson & Childs is provided at the bottom of the postcard. Three stamps are present on the back side, including one which indicates that this postcard was sent to Russell & Maple in Whittier, California. With a minor acid burn, a crease, early signs of foxing, and minor discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
