An advertising statue in Anaheim, F. Morrison Boyd, 1925. The image shows a genie's lamp on a tapered pedestal alongside a road in a partially developed area. The advertising is for the California Valencia Orange show and lettering on the lamp reads "The Land of Alladin." The show was held in Anaheim and the bottom of the pedestal reads "Here May 24 to June 3." An inscription in pencil on the reverse notes that billboards were banned in California, so statues were used instead. Boyd was a road scout for the American Automobile Association and was on a 37,000-mile trip through the U.S., Mexico and Canada. With the bottom left corner missing, mounting corners attached on two corners and residue left on the torn corner, the condition is fair.
