Description
An advertising tape measure, The U.S. Bar and Cafe, Los Angeles, ca. 1910. On one side of the circular tape measure is a color photograph of a woman posed with her hands supporting her chin, she wears her hair piled high and a low cut, square neck line, flowery blouse. On the other side is information about the restaurant at 204 North Main Street and its commercial lunch. The proprietors of the establishment are Dutzler and Zitzelsberger. Wound around the cylinder is a yellow cloth tape with measurements in inches with a metal head. The tape is frayed at the edges, but in general the item is in good condition.
