Description
An aerial photograph mounted on album paper labeled "'Lucky' Baldwin's Estate, Orange, Cal," 1918. Taken from a biplane, the view shows a series of roads, some cultivated field, probably citrus groves, cleared areas that appear to have structures, planters and perhaps a fountain and areas at the upper left especially that have tall trees, as if part of an estate garden. The caption in white pencil on the album paper at the bottom misidentifies the Baldwin estate, which was in Arcadia, though it is possible that the photo showed an Orange County estate that was not Baldwins. With some soilig and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
