Description
An aerial photograph of a football game at the Los Angeles Coliseum, ca. 1926. The view shows the packed stadium and players at about the 30-yard line on the west end of the field. At the top are portions of Exposition Park, including the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art and other structures and landscaping. To the south of the stadium are structures and cars and trucks, while people are walking on wide walks around the Coliseum. Pasted down on the reverse are a photo of a young woman, a membership card for the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce for 1926 and a membership card for the same year with the Hollywood Athletic Club. With album paper residue, much creasing and a tape-repaired tear at the upper left, the condition is fair.
