An aerial view of the Los Angeles Coliseum, 12 December 1927. The image shows the nearly full stadium during a football game, as well as some of the structures, roads, landscaping and other elements around the facility. A pasted-down label on the reverse refers to the Coliseum as a "Platter of the Gods" including "60,000 human morsels." A trivial note is that the image shows new football regulations putting the goal posts ten yards behind the goal lines. There is a date stamp and a stamp from Underwood and Underwood, the publishers. With soiling, some stains, and a few creases, the overall condition is good.
