2021.3.1.109Description
An agreement between Lucinda Temple de Zuñiga and John H. Temple, November 1918. The document recorded that, for a dollar, Lucinda assigned all of her interest to her brother in the "Seladonia [Celedonia] Alvitre Lands" on the ranchos Potrero Chico and La Merced including "any other lands obtained by the late Mrs. A.M.W. de Temple," their mother. The land was also posessed by George Barry and was held by his widow Adelaida Bermudez and other heirs and was described as east of the Río Hondo and north of the county bridge (presumably that crossing the river along San Gabriel Boulevard.) The document was notarized in Greenlee County, Arizona, where Lucinda and her husband Manuel Zuñiga, who signed as witness, then lived, though they moved in with Walter Temple by 1920. With folds, creases, edge and fold tears, browning and light soiling, the condition is fair.Lexicon
