Description
An article (a), "Blast Sets $1,500,000 Oil Fire in Santa Fe Fields," Los Angeles Illustrated Daily News, 1 December 1924. The entire front page is devoted to three large photos of the massive conflagration and the beginning of the article is at the upper right. A second clipping (b) is the continuation of the article. More news is on page two and there is material on the clipping's reverse. Several photos in this accession show the fire and damage. With folds, creases, and some soiling, the overall condition is good.
