Description
A photograph showing an Indian in a feathered headdress at Mission San Gabriel, 1925. The image shows the man, wearing costume suited to midwestern American plains tribes rather than the Gabrielino of the San Gabriel area, standing next to the old church. On the reverse is an inscription in German that includes the location and date. With some light soiling and minor edge rubbing, the condition is good.
