Description
An Internal Revenue License issued to William Workman, 28 September 1866. The license, in effect from 1 May 1866 to 1 May 1867, was for the occupation of manufacturer (wine) and noted that tax of $10 was paid. On the reverse are two notations that a distiller's license of $12.50 was paid the same day and was to be issued when bonds were filed. With creases, minor foxing, an edge tear and light soiling, the condition is good.
