Description
An invitation with matching envelope for a Christmas Festival, issued 15 November 1850. The item has an embossed leaf-and-vine design around the edges with the printed matter, including an image of a couple dancing, the title, location, date and time, names and places of residence for the managers, the name of the band performing, the charge, date of issuance and printing company's name, within the border. The envelope has the same embossed border but is unused without markings. With stains, soiling and creases on the invitation and light browning on the envelope, the condition is good overall.
