Description

An invoice to F.P.F. Temple from William Potter of the Rowland Mill, 21 March 1853. The document records the services and cost that day of grinding corn and bran for Temple at the facility, located along San José Creek in the present City of Industry east of Rowland's dwelling. A penciled note at the bottom asked Temple to pay Rowland's namesake son, who was the bearer of the bill and was dated by Potter on 4 April. With folds, many creases, soiling and a stain or two, the condition is fair.
