The view is a closeup of the animal behind a wood fence with posts and three rails, while a board fence occupies one side of the pen. In the background are some hills, but there are no inscriptions to identify the location. The reverse of the unused card has a stamp with a faint line demarcating the correspondence area from where the address goes. With some soiling and light edge wear, the condition is good overall.
