Description

A black and white photograph of an unidentified U.S. Army soldier standing on a deck of a ship, ca. 1910s. The soldier is part of the 760th Coast Artillery unit in the Army. The text on the bottom right indicates his specific unit. He poses in front of the camera and smiles as he holds a cigar in his right hand, posed in front of his torso. He rests his other hand on his left hip. Behind him are white railings, ship wire, other sections of the ships components and the side of a building. The photo is in good condition despite the stains on the reverse and minor warping.
