A black and white photograph of an unknown woman, October 9, 1929. The woman stands at the center on a sidewalk. She wears a light colored coat, a pleated knee-length dress, hose, and heels. Her left arm is at the coat's lapel and her right arm is down at her side. The woman is identified as "Harpo" in other images. Across the background is a drugstore which has an awning above a long window. The awning has letters, part of which make up the the beginning of the word "PHARMACY." Several advertisements are on the window, one of which is for Bayer Aspirin. The date is stamped in purple on the back along with "ENAMELO / WEBBS." The image was housed in Agnes Temple's photo album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With only a slight yellowing of the paper, the artifact is in good condition.
