Description
An unknown woman seated on a wooden bench near the southeast area of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1920s. The young woman wears a fur collared coat, dress as she sits on a bench, smiles, and looks directly at the camera. Her hair is cut short and is in a bob style. She appears in other photos with Thomas and Nellie, but her exact identity is unknown. She is possibly a cousin of the Temple family. Toward the left is a portion of the concrete post that leads into the La Casa Nueva Courtyard. In the background are shrubbery, a palm tree and the roof of the Workman House with the second-floor window in view, and the western side of the house covered in ivy. On the reverse is a photographer's stamp of "22." The photograph is in good condition.
