Description
An unmounted black and white cabinet photograph, "#18 Post Office MAIN ST. North L.A. Cal," by Munsey, ca. 1900. The view is taken from the west side of the street and takes in parts of several commercial structures, including the city post office. On the street is train 185 of the Los Angeles Railway and a few horse-drawn vehicles. A trio of men are at the back of a wagon at the lower right and a bicyclist is also in view. Some pedestrians are on the sidewalks. With yellowing on the edges and light soiling, the condition is good overall.
