Description

Color: Blue; Red "Angela Mia" sheet music, 1928. The cover has a photographic image of actors Charles Farrell and Janet Gaynor in an embrace at the lower right. Above them, in a blue-background box with a white border is the song title in red letters and its English translation in white letters bounded by parentheses below. To the left are the writing credits, with lyrics by Lew Pollack and music by Erno Rappe. Toward the bottom left is the notation that the song came from the film "Street Angel." At the bottom center is the publisher's information with the names of Gaynor and Farrell at the bottom right. Inside is the score and lyrics for the song with the tempo as "moderato" and providing a tuning scale for the ukulele. On the back are samples of two other popular songs published by the De Sylva, Brown and Henderson company, "That's Just My Way of Forgetting You," and "Without You Sweetheart," both songs written by the company owners. With only a few creases, light soiling on the back cover, and slight page discoloration, the artifact is in good condition.
