Angels Flight Railway, Los Angeles, 1915. The view is taken from the intersection of Third Street and Hill Street. At the southwest corner of the intersection is the entrance arch to the funicular, which climbs to Bunker Hill, at the top of which is a large tower. A variety of commercial and apartment buildings lines Third Street and the hill above the tunnel which extended Third under the hill. There are also pedestrians and a car headng toward the tunnel in the image, which is mounted to black album paper, which has an inscription, "Angels Flight / Los Angeles." There are some signs attached from the sides of the building, one of which states "VEGETARIAN," on the right side of the image. With some soiling and slight wear to the paper, the overall condition is good.
