Description

A snapshot of Angelus Temple, Los Angeles, F. Morrison Boyd, 1925. The image captures the front of the round Neoclassical church built by Aimee Semple McPherson and includes the signs and portrait of McPherson at the top of the structure, as well portions of power towers and some landscaping in and near the building. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads "Anglus [sic] Temple / Aimee mcpherson." Boyd was road scout for the American Automobile Association and on a 37,000 miles road trip through the U.S., Mexico and Canada. With some soiling and browning, the condition is good overall.
