The item provides a general survey of the public schools of the state, information on school lands, and other details. There are also tabular statements relating to school attendance, finance, and other information. There are also abstracts from the reports of county superintendents, though only those of about a dozen counties are included. It should be noted that many pages have not been trimmed open. With heavy soiling, staining, foxing, and edge wear on the wrappers, and only slightly better conditions of the same on pages, the overall condition is poor.Lexicon
