Description

ANTONIA MARGARITA WORKMAN DE TEMPLE AND DAUGHTERS LUCINDA AND MARGARITA, CA. 1869. A reproduction black and white photograph of Antonia Margarita Workman de Temple (1830-1892) and her daughters Lucinda (1860-1928) and Margarita (1866-1953), ca. 1869. The studio portrait shows Mrs. Temple seated in what appears to be a silk dark-colored blouse and ornately patterned silk skirt. There seems to be some sort of hair net at the back and she wears a large crucifix pendant on a chain around her neck. Sitting in her lap is daughter Margarita wearing a dress of unknown material. Standing to the left is daughter Lucinda wearing a dress that seems to be identical to her sister's and a crucifix around her neck. The photo is in poor condition after exposure to water while being stored in a trash can in a garage. The photo is warped and stained. Number-Units: 1
