Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the arcade at Mission San Juan Capistrano, ca. 1920s. Part of the arcade is at the left of the back with only two of the arches visible behind a tree. Behind the wall is a tile roof. The other wall of the arcade is at the right and partly covered with ivy. Much of the wall's brick is exposed and in poor condition. Behind the arches is a wall which is also in disrepair. On the wall are two small windows at the far left and right. At the left is a courtyard with dirt and a small wood cross. At the right of the foreground is a leaf-less tree. The photograph was housed in Agnes Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With water damage and deep stains along the top, the artifact is in poor condition.
