"The Architectural Digest," Vol. IX, Number 2, published by John C. Brasfield, Los Angeles, ca. 1929. The issue consists of floor plans and photographs of exteriors and interiors of architect-designed homes and some commercial structures, mainly in exclusive cities and towns in the Los Angeles area but with some in other portions of California. There is also a section of staged interiors featuring furnishings by Bullock's department store's Bureau of Interior Decoration. Featured structures include the home of film actor Warner Baxter, with an essay; the Ambassador Hotel; a club house at Santa Anita Park; the Griffith Observatory; the Los Angeles Times headquarters; the mausoleum of William Andrews Clark, Junior; and others. With edge rubbing, creases, and stains on the wrappers and some creased pages, the condition is good overall.Lexicon
