"Around the Horn to the Sandwich Islands and California, 1845-1850," Chester S. Lyman (New Haven: Yale University Press,) 1924. The work is an edit of the personal record of the journey by Lyman, later a professor at Yale, from New York to Honolulu, from Hawaii to northern California, and then from San Francisco to New York. There are illustrations and an index, as well. With some edge rubbing, scratches, spine end dents and other wear to the boards, but clean pages, the overall condition is good.
