ART GOEBLE'S 'YANKEE DOODLE' AIRPLANE AT MINES FIELD, LOS ANGELES
Entry/Object ID

Description
PHOTOGRAPH, ART GOEBLE'S 'YANKEE DOODLE' AIRPLANE AT MINES FIELD, LOS ANGELES, September 1928. The view is a close-up of about a dozen people gathered around the aircraft, while a mechanic on a ladder appears to be nailing something on the left wing. A car is parked next to the plane at the right and a portion of the airport building is at the left. On the reverse is a typed inscription giving descriptive information. Aside from a small 3/8" wide missing section at the left, where the building is, there is only minor soiling and creasing, so the condition is good.
