Description

Color: Green; red; white A box for Artificial Fireproof Snow, a product for Christmas use, ca. 1920s. The front and back panels are identical: a scene of Santa Claus placing a decoration on a Christmas tree, which features artifical snow. In red ink at the top is the title "ARTIFICIAL / SNOW." Two of the side panels give the product title in green and red ink; a third reads "ARTIFICIAL FIREPROOF / SNOW / A BEAUTIFUL DECORATION FOR / CHRISTMAS TREES'; while the last panel provides directions for use. There is no identification as to manufacturer on the object, which, with rather heavy discoloration and some edge wear, does not appear to have been used and is in fair condition.
