Description

ARTS AND CRAFTS FOR HOME DECORATION, DENNISON-CRAFT COURSE PART 2 Color: Black; Brown; Green "Arts and Crafts for Home Decoration, Dennison-craft Course Part 2: Crepe-Twist Craft-Weaving With Crepe Paper Rope," issued by Dennison-craft, 1929. The 48-page artfact has a brown paper cover with the title at the top and at the bottom. At the center is a color illustration of a woman in a green dress sitting at a table and working on crafts. The room she sits in is decorated with a variety of crafts which are seen on a bookshelf and table in the background. At the center of the back is a line drawing of a lamp, framed photo, and a basket. At the beginning of the inside is a table of contents, title-page, and an introduction. There are instruction for crafts using the crochet process to make bags and hats. Weaving projects include the making of baskets, lampshades, bowls, and magazine racks. At the back are articles on making crepe paper curtains and draperies, as well as picture framing with passe-partout. Also at the back is an index. Many black and white photographs and illustrations are included. With abrasions; many stains; surface soiling; creases; and foxing, the object is in poor condition.
