"At Tournament of Roses," Pasadena, California, by William Henry Hill, 1 January 1897. The image shows two women in a small one-horse drawn flower-bedecked cart on a road or driveway in a well-landscaped residential neighborhood. The title is at the lower left of the image and Hill's mark at the bottom right of the mount. There are significant abrasions at three of the four corners and heacy scratches, stains and soiling on the image, which is in poor condition.
