Description

"Automatic Sizer Distributing Oranges to Sizing Bins," from a Sunkist orange packing plant, Los Angeles, published by Keystone View Company, ca. 1920s. The view shows about a dozen women working with the sizing machine, which carries the fruit on thin conveyor belts, to the workers who pack the oranges into wooden crates marked with the Sunkist name. Some portions of the structure are also in view. The title and ID number are at the right and the publisher's name and place of business are at the left. There is very little soiling and edge rubbing to the mount, so the condition is good.
