An automobile repair shop, perhaps in Pasadena, California, ca. 1923. The view shows four men, one in a suit and the others in work clothes near a car with 1923 license plates. One of the men is posed crouched at the left front wheel of the vehicle. Worktables, tools, and air tanks on a wheeled dolly are also of note, as are the open beams and tin ceilings and walls of the building. There are no identifying marks or inscriptions on the photograph which, with curvature of the mount, abrasions, soiling and a few stains, is in good overall condition.
