Description

"Automobile Row" (a) and a steel case (b), published by Autorow Publishing Company, Los Angeles, 1923. The item and its case were designed to be kept in the automobile and provides room for recording owner information, keeping a maintenance record, and there is information on traffic laws (with 1923 dates), a map of downtown Los Angeles with traffic notes, a list of downtown business buildings, a variety of regional traffic maps, a poem about boxer Jack Dempsey, and many industry-related advertisements. The case had "The White Spot Shop" embossed on both sides. With stains, soiling and minor edge rubbing to the book and much rust, scratches and some dents to the case, the condition is fair overall.
