"B 2000 Los Angeles, Cal.." published by Isaiah W. Taber, ca. 1882. The image, taken from the high school atop Fort Moore Hill, looks towards the southeast and takes in the mainly residential area of downtown Los Angeles south of the older portions. Several churches are also in view. The image may have been taken by Carleton Watkins, whose inventory was acquired by Taber. The condition is good.
