Description
"B 3952. An Orange Grove, San Gabriel Valley, California," Isaiah W. Taber, San Francisco, ca. 1880s. The image is of a closeup view of a tree lading with fruit with portions of other trees in the unidentified grove, part of the San Gabriel Fruit Belt near the mission, in the background. The image is likely a reprint of a late 1870s view taken by Arthur C. Varela and is mounted on a card with .2 of the accession. With some edge fading and light soiling, the condition is good overall.
