A cabinet card photograph, "45. Floral Scene at Residence of C.B. Adams, Alhambra, Cal.," by Jarvis, Pasadena, ca. 1890s. The view shows a rich profusion of trees, shrubs and other plants in the garden, with the house not in view. On the reverse are detailed ink inscriptions, presumed contemporary with the production of the image, of the plants with corresponding numbers at the bottom that refer to the plants on the obverse. With light stains on the reverse, edge rubbing, minor soiling and very slight mount curvature, the overall condition is good.
