Photograph, Reproduction: A black and white reproduction photograph of Babe Egan and the Hollywood Redheads, a jazz group, 1929. The photograph shows Egan dressed in a white outfit and seated at a piano with her right arm in her lap and her left arm on the keys of the piano. Standing in a line behind Egan and next to the piano in an interlocked fashion are eight women in striped outfits and ties--these are the other members of the band. At the lower right on the original photo is the photographer's mark reading, "BUTLER/CHICAGO." The photograph, obtained for an article in the Homestead Quarterly about 1920s jazz, is in mint condition. None
