Color: Black; Green; Orange
A radio supply catalog issued by The Barawik Company, Chicago, 1925. The cover of the 51-page booklet has an orange background with four connecting white lines as a border and a square panel with a black background, over which is the title. Below this are four cloud-like areas with, from left to right, scenes of a woman playing a piano, a black jazz band playing, a man at a stock ticker, and a politician at a podium with the U. S. Capitol behind him. Below these is an oval with a green border and a scene of a family of four listening to a radio. At the bottom of this oval is the company name and place of business. On the inside front cover is information on the company, its products, and the company's guarantee of quality. Following are listings of items for sale, including tubes, loudspeakers, head sets, transformers, condensers, dials, sockets, plugs, antennas, batteries, books, complete radio sets, consoles and cabinets. At the back is an index, and information on how to order and transportation charges. There are many illustrations, most drawings but some photographic. With creases, small tears, and surface soiling to the cover and some damage to pages, like a large tear on page 45 and soiling on page 47, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
