"Barber Supplies: Catalog 1," issued by P. A. Whitmore, 1926. The 72-page artifact has a black cardstock cover with a silver drawing of a barber's chair at the center of the front. The name of the manufacturer is at the top and the title is at the bottom, along with the location of the company. All of the lettering is in green ink. At the beginning of the inside is a title page which also includes a brief introduction to the catalog. Items listed include a variety of chairs; electric clippers; hair tonics; creams; lotions; shampoos; shaving supplies; razors; stools; scissors; brushes and combs; shaving mugs; scalp vibrators; hair dryers; manicure tables; cabinets; and more. Many black and white photographs and illustrations are included. With only small light stains on the cover, the object is in good condition.Lexicon
