Description

Color: Black; White A baseball card of Johnny Mostil, issued by Sweetman Co., Inc., St. Louis, 1928. The photo shows Mostil leaning over with a glove on his left hand resting on one knee and his bare right hand on the other. The player stands on a baseball field and there is a fence and building in the background. At the bottom is the player's name and the number "24" in parentheses, indicating which number it was of the set. On the reverse is information about the set of sixty cards of prominent professional players and indicates that an album for the set was available for fifteen cents worth of product stamps. The company name and address is at the bottom. With edge and corner abrasions, a crease at the top left front corner, soiling on the back, slight yellowing, and a small stain at the top of the back, the overall condition is good.
